Inauguration of the Aim High Shooting Range and Felicitation Ceremony

Mahatma Education Society 's Pillai Group of Institutions held a felicitation ceremony for its Best Achievers in the field of Sports and Environment and the inauguration of the newly constructed Indoor Shooting Range at Dr. K.M. Vasudevan Pillai’s Campus, New Panvel, on 24th January 2012.

The students were felicitated by the Olympian Shooter Ms. Suma Sirur and B B Nayak, Journalist & Multiple Guiness World Record Holder for their outstanding achievements in their respective fields at the national and international level. Ms. Sirur also gave us the privilege of inaugurating the Aim High Shooting Range by cutting the ribbon to open the shooting range. The shooting range is a state-of-the art six lane 10m rifle range. Both Ms. Sirur and Mr. B B Nayak had kind words of inspiration and motivation for our young athletes and environmentalists.

It was a wonderful event that saw MES's aspiring Olympians and environmentalists get recognized for the wonderful effort they have put in for their respective schools and colleges on the national and international level. The day concluded with the awards ceremony for the Campus Sports Day winners.
